Binaural beats, an auditory illusion that occurs when presenting two similar pure tones to each ear separately, have been purported to induce mood alterations, contingent on the beat frequency. Be it in social gatherings or late study nights, we use audio stimuli to set the “right mood” and improve our cognitive performance ( Mammarella et al., 2007 Schellenberg et al., 2007 Tarr et al., 2014). Humans use music and rhythm as mood enhancers. Whether binaural beats have an impact on cognitive performance or other mood measurements remains to be seen and can be further investigated within the proposed methodological framework. Our results provide evidence that binaural beats elicit cross frequency connectivity patterns, but weakly entrain the cortex when compared with monaural beat stimuli. Despite this, we did not find any mood modulation related to our experimental manipulation. Furthermore, functional connectivity patterns were modulated differentially by both kinds of stimuli, with binaural beats being the only one eliciting cross-frequency activity. Both stimuli elicited standard subcortical responses at the pure tone frequencies of the stimulus, and entrained the cortex at the beat frequency. To do so, we compared the effects of binaural beats with a control beat stimulation (monaural beats, known to entrain brain activity but not mood) across four distinct levels in the human auditory pathway: subcortical and cortical entrainment, scalp-level functional connectivity and self-reports. Here, we sought to address those questions in a robust fashion using a single-blind, active-controlled protocol. Several controversial claims have been attributed to binaural beats regarding their ability to entrain human brain activity and mood, in both the scientific literature and the marketing realm. This helps to heal the body while effecting the mind.Ī:As an overview the application mixes brain altering tones while adjusting the music to vibrate with the body.Ī:Any volume in the app will be effective, however, some prefer a louder tone volume to help concentration and focus.Ī:Absolutely, there are no know negative side effects to brainwave entrainment and or music retuning.Binaural beating is a perceptual auditory illusion occurring when presenting two neighboring frequencies to each ear separately.
These tones are known for healing powers and the effects the have on water and DNA. When the brain receives the two tones it tries to synchronize itself to the presented frequencies creating a pulse.Ī:These tones are split by the amount related with the selected entrainment.
The is done by splitting Solfeggio tones by an exact amount to achieve a desired effect. 432hz scaled tuning correlates with the color spectrum while 440hz does not.Ī:Retuned takes the current playing track and alters its pitch from 440hz to 432hz to help promote a more enhanced musical experience.Ī:Brainwave entrainment is the act of training your brain to be in a specific mental state. Our breath and pulse rate relate to the frequency of the lower octave of an A tunes to 432hz. Setting the brainwave entrainment to ‘7.83hz - Grounding’ can make you feel revitalized and refreshed. Setting the brainwave entrainment to ‘14hz - Concentration’ and playing your favorite album will make it easier to concentrate on difficult tasks. Creating a playlist with no tracks allows you to mix brainwave entrainment tones into other apps that stream or play music. Music retuned is said to feel warmer and clearer. Retuning music creates a more vibrant experience of the sound, harmonizing and vibrating cells. These are sounds that have effects on water, emotion, human DNA, and more. Solfeggio Tones: The brainwave entrainment collection has been created using the Solfeggio tones binaural collection by Universal Tones.
Use with your playlist or mix with other streaming apps. Alter mental and conscious states using binaural and monaural sound therapy techniques. Harmonizing and vibrating our cells, feeling warmer and more clear. Retuning music creates a more vibrant experience of the sound. Lock screen control of music player and album covers. Add brainwaves to music or mix with other apps. Save, edit, and delete custom playlists. Increased memory, stamina, concentration, and much more. Take control of your mental state through binaural sound therapy techniques. Retuned is finally here! Change music from 440hz back to 432hz - warmer, more crisp, and energizing experience.
